This biographical drama about the legendary Greek singer Stelios Kazantzidis covers his life from 1948–1974. Directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and starring Christos Mastoras, the film explores the singer's rise from a poor Pontiac refugee family to become the 'voice of the Greek soul'. He survives and thrives against all odds, thanks to his immense talent and resilience in the face of social and personal challenges.
